How it works?

You (or we on your behalf) apply for a grant
Application is submitted online. If you application was submitted correctly, you will be granted a voucher worth up to € 1000.00 within 15 days.

Start EUIPO trademark registration process
You will have 4 months to start the trademark registration process. Initially you voucher is valid for 2 months, however, if you feel that you are short of time, you can extend it for another 2 months.
Prepare and submit EUIPO trademark application. At the submission you will have to pay EUIPO registration fees that we shared in the table above.
Please note that you can either register a trademark yourself on EUIPO website or reach out to specialist that could help you with that (typically costs € 150-300).

Submit reimbursement request
After you submitted trademark registration application and paid EUIPO fees, submit voucher reimbursement request.

Receive reimbursement
You will receive 75% of the paid EUIPO trademark registration fees to the bank account specified in the reimbursement request.

  • What benefits does the grant provide?
    The grant offers 75% reimbursement of the EUIPO trademark registration and design registration fees at the national and European Union level (EUIPO).
  • What is EUIPO?
    The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) is the European Union agency responsible for managing the registration of trademarks and designs within the EU.

  • Who is eligible to apply for a grant?
    All Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises established in the EU are eligible to apply for a grant. It means companies with <250 employees, turnover < € 50m, balance sheet < € 43m.
    Owners, authorised employees or external representatives can apply.
  • When you can apply for a grant funding?
    From 22 January 2024 to 06 December 2024.
    However, grant funds are limited, hence, applications will be closed as soon as all funds are exhausted, which may happen earlier than the declared end date.
